Super Visa

The Super Visa is a long-term, multiple-entry visa designed for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Unlike a standard visitor visa, the Super Visa allows eligible individuals to stay in Canada for up to two years at a time without needing to renew their status, and it is valid for up to 10 years.

Who is Eligible?

To be eligible, applicants must be the parents or grandparents of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. The host child or grandchild must meet a minimum income threshold, provide a letter of invitation, and ensure the applicant has valid Canadian medical insurance for at least one year.
